Sri Lanka petroleum authority cancels tender of Singapore Company for substandard fuel



Aug 04, Colombo: The director board of Sri Lanka’s petroleum authority, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), today decided to suspend the tender of a Singaporean company that supplied substandard fuel to the CPC.
The globally trading Singapore-based company, Vitol, is accused of supplying low quality diesel to Sri Lanka which caused damage to a large number of vehicles including buses and trains.
